Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domenico Primavera kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Gavasseto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Petrini came free, but Ernesto Manzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Petrini struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ernesto Manzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrione Cerquetta. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fabrizio Cassone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrione Cerquetta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Cassone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Manzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Andreola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Manzi having to interfere. Ermanno Colombi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Manzi having to interfere. Arturo Benedetti hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alex Apicella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amos Di Gennaro in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Torrione Cerquetta's Donato Petrini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Manzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Gavasseto FC's Domenico Primavera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Apicella. Alex Apicella yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Domenico Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Torrione Cerquetta getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Corrado Mancini hit a great ball. Gavasseto FC's Ernesto Manzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Andreola in the 45th minute of play. Ernesto Manzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Petrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Donato Petrini notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gavasseto FC's Ernesto Manzi. Ernesto Manzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Corrado Mancini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Apicella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Di Gennaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Gavasseto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Andreola came free, but Ernesto Manzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Torrione Cerquetta's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Di Gennaro came free, but Alex Apicella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Petrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ernesto Manzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alexander Andreola came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Torrione Cerquetta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Andreola couldn't finish the play. When Fortunato Tacconelli fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavasseto FC's protests and gave Fortunato Tacconelli a yellow card for diving instead. Fortunato Tacconelli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Donato Petrini struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ernesto Manzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrione Cerquetta. After a defensive mix-up in Gavasseto FC's zone, Donato Petrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Manzi came out of the goal and Donato Petrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Andreola in the 85th minute of play forced Gavasseto FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Manzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Torrione Cerquetta were awarded a corner. Davide Cangiano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Torrione Cerquetta's Davide Cangiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Manzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Gavasseto FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donato Petrini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexander Andreola struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ernesto Manzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrione Cerquetta. After having played for 98 minutes, Donato Petrini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrione Cerquetta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Petrini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torrione Cerquetta played a much better game than Gavasseto FC and deserved their victory. The Gavasseto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
