Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armin Croce got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Racing 1907 booed when RUNA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Andreassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Simonetti kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, RUNA FC's Armin Croce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ermanno Cara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weverton Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Sven-Åke Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Campli having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, Racing 1907's Alex Belardi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weverton Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ermanno Cara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Alex Belardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weverton Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Croce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Fausto Di Campli made a huge save. In the 36th minute RUNA FC were awarded a corner. Edvard Sundberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led RUNA FC's Edvard Sundberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Fausto Di Campli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Racing 1907's zone, Armin Croce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Di Campli came out of the goal and Armin Croce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Racing 1907's Fausto Di Campli got control of the ball when Armin Croce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortunato Verdecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Cara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armin Croce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armin Croce might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Di Campli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Croce ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ermanno Andreassi fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RUNA FC's protests and gave Ermanno Andreassi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RUNA FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ermanno Andreassi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Belardi got free with Weverton Silva in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Belardi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Weverton Silva made a huge save. Alex Belardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Weverton Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Croce in the 82nd minute of play forced Racing 1907's goalkeeper Fausto Di Campli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Verdecchia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RUNA FC's zone, Ermanno Cara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weverton Silva came out of the goal and Ermanno Cara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
