The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Carbonaro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aurelio Rocchetti hit a great ball. The supporters of Fc Radio Deejay booed when Pigozzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Rocchetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Biagio Alonzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pigozzo's Enzo Nobile was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pigozzo's Enzo Nobile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Alonzi in the 27th minute of play. When Aurelio Rocchetti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. In the 32nd minute, Aurelio Rocchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Di Giambattista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pigozzo's Enzo Nobile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Pigozzo from getting a goal against them. Arrigo Del Monte's late challenge caught a Fc Radio Deejay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Del Monte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Arrigo Del Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pigozzo's Enzo Nobile got control of the ball when Franco Marinacci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Biagio Alonzi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Nobile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biagio Felicetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ernesto Santini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biagio Alonzi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Biagio Alonzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Radio Deejay's zone, Biagio Felicetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Santini came out of the goal and Biagio Felicetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Marinacci might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Nobile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Marinacci ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Alonzi in the 68th minute of play forced Pigozzo's goalkeeper Enzo Nobile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Marinacci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Nobile having to make a save. When Eraldo Di Massimo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Radio Deejay's protests and gave Eraldo Di Massimo a yellow card for diving instead. Eraldo Di Massimo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Pigozzo's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Alonzi came free, but Enzo Nobile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Radio Deejay's Alvise Di Giambattista got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Corrado Di Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pigozzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Di Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Biagio Alonzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Nobile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Marinacci's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Franco Marinacci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Enzo Nobile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Pigozzo got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Carbonaro. In the 93rd minute of the game, Anthony Clementi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Aldo Carbonaro fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pigozzo's protests and gave Aldo Carbonaro a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Carbonaro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
