Edoardo Ruggeri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brasciola team's Edoardo Ruggeri got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Brasciola team's goalkeeper Comunardo Carosella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Presutti. Comunardo Carosella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Mazzocchi in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Mazzocchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Felice Rosato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Del Gatto was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Attilio Presutti notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brasciola team's Comunardo Carosella. Comunardo Carosella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
