Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuele Mazzocchi made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the LOCOS F.C. defense, Attilio Presutti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Palleschi. The LOCOS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Palleschi should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Alfonso Scirea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ennio Del Gatto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Scirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Palleschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Mazzocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfonso Scirea came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the LOCOS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Scirea couldn't finish the play. Ennio Del Gatto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Scirea in the 22nd minute of play. d.b. impianti's Ennio Del Gatto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Leoni in the 26th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Fulvio Palleschi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfonso Scirea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ennio Del Gatto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LOCOS F.C. booed when d.b. impianti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Consalvi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Scirea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ennio Del Gatto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Del Gatto came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by LOCOS F.C.'s Alfonso Scirea. But to his dismay, Alfonso Scirea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Attilio Presutti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Fulvio Palleschi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Emanuele Mazzocchi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the d.b. impianti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Mazzocchi couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ennio Del Gatto made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cosimo Leoni sent off a good shot on target. Attilio Presutti kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in d.b. impianti's zone, Cosimo Leoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Del Gatto came out of the goal and Cosimo Leoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Scirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Mazzocchi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulvio Palleschi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Alfonso Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Del Gatto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Mazzocchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, LOCOS F.C.'s Fulvio Suriani got a free kick in the 66th minute. Enrico Marcon charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Marcon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, LOCOS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Marcon to maneuver through the defense. Fulvio Palleschi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Presutti's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Emanuele Mazzocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Palleschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match, Alfonso Scirea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ennio Del Gatto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cosimo Leoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ennio Del Gatto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Leoni ran back to his position shaking his head. The LOCOS F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOCOS F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
