The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Lattanzio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borgolombardo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for A.S.D. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Tabacco couldn't finish the play. Federico Panella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Andreola in the 25th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Borgolombardo's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Motta came free, but Diego Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Anselmo Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S.D. Siracusa 1924's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Spano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex De Tommasi struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Tommasi in the 42nd minute of play forced Borgolombardo's goalkeeper Diego Spano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Borgolombardo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Anselmo Motta made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Anselmo Motta made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Borgolombardo's Diego Spano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Motta in the 55th minute of play. When Alex De Tommasi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex De Tommasi couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Alex De Tommasi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Spano, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Borgolombardo's Demetrio Andreola got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Malvezzi to maneuver through the defense. Federico Panella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Andreola in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Anselmo Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Diego Spano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 minutes, Fausto De Carolis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borgolombardo and the A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borgolombardo's Fausto De Carolis got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alex De Tommasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Spano having to interfere. Davide Malvezzi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex De Tommasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex De Tommasi got free with Diego Spano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Spano made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Alex De Tommasi sent off a good shot on target. A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 played a much better game than Borgolombardo and deserved their victory. The Borgolombardo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
