Alex De Tommasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristiano Giannico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Anselmo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Giannico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Giannico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Motta in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Di Berardino got free with Federico Panella in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franco Bonanni struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Federico Panella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgo Di Ronta AFC. Alex De Tommasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Anselmo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Giannico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 booed when Borgo Di Ronta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Gualtieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Motta made a kick off. When A.S.D. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Franco Bonanni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgo Di Ronta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Bonanni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Panella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Giannico was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eraldo Profeta. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgo Di Ronta AFC's goalkeeper Cristiano Giannico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex De Tommasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Giannico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Cristiano Giannico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Motta in the 73rd minute of the match. A.S.D. Siracusa 1924 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
