Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Baggio started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Montecelio AFC's Adriano Cerri got a free kick in the 7th minute. Angelo Ruscitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Davide Ferrante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Ferrante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio De Luca in the 12th minute of the match. Aurelio Damiani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Amerigo Rainaldi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montecelio AFC's protests and gave Amerigo Rainaldi a yellow card for diving instead. Amerigo Rainaldi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Angelo Ruscitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Cerri's late challenge caught a Scaltenigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Cerri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Scaltenigo booed when Montecelio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Cerri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Damiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Baggios short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Aurelio Damiani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Montecelio AFC's zone, Angelo Ruscitti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Ferrante came out of the goal and Angelo Ruscitti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Scivittaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Aurelio Damiani made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Scaltenigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Graziani to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Elia Fioriti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scaltenigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montecelio AFC the free kick. 42 minutes into the game, one of Scaltenigo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Davide Ferrante was a little too slow when Angelo Ruscitti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 3-1. Aurelio Damiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Diego Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Damiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio De Luca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Davide Ferrante made a huge save. Flavio De Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Damiani came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Montecelio AFC's Andrea Scivittaro. But to his dismay, Andrea Scivittaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Andrea Scivittaro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Aurelio Damiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montecelio AFC. In the 85th minute of the match, Angelo Ruscitti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Davide Ferrante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86thth minute of the game Andrea Scivittaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scaltenigo's Aurelio Damiani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Baggio in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Damiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montecelio AFC's goalkeeper Davide Ferrante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Montecelio AFC's zone, Flavio De Luca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Ferrante came out of the goal and Flavio De Luca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montecelio AFC had won after a very even match.
