Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Baggio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th match minute, Fizzonasco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Salerni to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Andrea Scivittaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Andrea Marchegiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Davide Ferrante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Fizzonasco AFC's Felice Bonelli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Ferrante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Baggio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Felice Del Nero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Baggio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Bonelli in the 47th minute of play forced Montecelio AFC's goalkeeper Davide Ferrante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Andrea Marchegiani made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fizzonasco AFC's Enrico Rubini got a free kick in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fizzonasco AFC's Andrea Marchegiani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Davide Ferrante. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. When Francesco Santangelo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fizzonasco AFC's protests and gave Francesco Santangelo a yellow card for diving instead. Francesco Santangelo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Adriano Cerri scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felice Del Nero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felice Bonelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Ferrante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Marchegiani in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Ferrante saved Montecelio AFC from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Diego Baggio notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fizzonasco AFC's Felice Del Nero. Felice Del Nero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Fizzonasco AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fausto Mazzocchetti hit a great ball. Fizzonasco AFC's Felice Del Nero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Baggio in the 92nd minute of play. When Diego Baggio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Montecelio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Baggio couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
