Pratolino AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Napoli the free kick. In the 8th minute, Anfilogino Apicella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Pratolino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Lozzi to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Teodori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Ucci having to interfere. Donato Renzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Ucci having to interfere. Edmondo Silveri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Guida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Donato Pietropaolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napoli and the Pratolino AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Napoli getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Donato Pietropaolo hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Pratolino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Silveri to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Renzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Beppe Teodori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Donato Renzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Ucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Alfonso Toninelli put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Pratolino AFC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. Donato Guida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Edmondo Silveri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Guida having to interfere. Pratolino AFC's Eugenio Ucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Teodori in the 82nd minute of play. Donato Guida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Vinciguerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Guida. That made the score 0-3 in the 96 minute of play. The Pratolino AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pratolino AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
