The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Pelusi during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fiumana booed when Riva Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Pelusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Riva Verde got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Pelusi. Bernardo Taurino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ermanno Berardinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Riva Verde booed when Fiumana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Domenghini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Giardino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Taurino in the 25th minute of play. Fabrizio Pelusi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Filippo De Iuliis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Berardinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Berardinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Zoccolo having to interfere. Antonello Zoccolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Berardinelli in the 36th minute of the match. Alvaro Domenghini kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Riva Verde's Filippo De Iuliis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antonello Zoccolo. That made the score 1-2 after 92 minutes of play. Ermanno Berardinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Antonello Zoccolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riva Verde played a much better game than Fiumana and deserved their victory. The Fiumana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
