Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filippo Pizziolo started the match with the kick off. Filippo De Iuliis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Giorda having to make a save. In the 17th minute Filippo De Iuliis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andrea Di Toro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riva Verde's protests and gave Andrea Di Toro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Riva Verde's Andrea Di Toro got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Ferdinando Donadoni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Giardino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filippo Pizziolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emiliano Giardino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cinecitta AFC's Frank Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo De Iuliis in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ermanno Berardinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riva Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Berardinelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Giorda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bianco Franceschelli kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Riva Verde's Filippo De Iuliis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Riva Verde's Filippo De Iuliis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filippo De Iuliis to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Giorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo De Iuliis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Filippo De Iuliis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riva Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Filippo De Iuliis struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Frank Giorda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riva Verde. After having played for 72 minutes, Ermanno Berardinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riva Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Berardinelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Riva Verde's Filippo De Iuliis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Giorda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Cinecitta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo De Iuliis came free, but Frank Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Riva Verde's Filippo De Iuliis in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Frank Giorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Berardinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cinecitta AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Riva Verde.
