If Filippo De Iuliis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Tor Tre Ponti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Amadei to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Lucchetta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Andrea Di Toro, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ermanno Berardinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Berardinelli couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinando Amadei during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferdinando Amadei hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Filippo De Iuliis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Di Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filippo De Iuliis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Berardinelli in the 51st minute of play forced Tor Tre Ponti FC's goalkeeper Alberto Di Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Filippo De Iuliis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Di Clemente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 59 minutes into the match, Tor Tre Ponti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Berardinelli came free, but Alberto Di Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
