Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Spinosa got the match started through his kick off. When FIESOLE FC's Eugenio Bomba in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 14th minute, Frank Spinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bomba in the 15th minute of play forced Castel Maggiore's goalkeeper Corrado Landolfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Bomba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corrado Landolfi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, Carlo Berardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castel Maggiore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FIESOLE FC the free kick. When Arturo Petito came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Castel Maggiore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Petito couldn't finish the play. Corrado Landolfi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Bomba's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Petito got free with Arturo Pascucci in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Mattei kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Donato Checchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Corrado Landolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Castel Maggiore got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Mattei. Arturo Pascucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Spinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Bomba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Noe hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Fabrizio Aureli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Pascucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Berardi in the 56th minute of play forced FIESOLE FC's goalkeeper Arturo Pascucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Bomba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Castel Maggiore getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anfilogino Pennetta hit a great ball. Eugenio Bomba struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Corrado Landolfi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIESOLE FC. Francesco Lucentini kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Eugenio Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Corrado Landolfi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Spinosa in the 79th minute of play forced FIESOLE FC's goalkeeper Arturo Pascucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Redisz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Redisz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes FIESOLE FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Redisz. Corrado Landolfi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Bomba in the 86th minute. Zeledon Noe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corrado Landolfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Castel Maggiore's zone, Eugenio Bomba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Landolfi came out of the goal and Eugenio Bomba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Pascucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Petito in the 92nd minute of play. Arturo Pascucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Spinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Zeledon Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Corrado Landolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
