Osvald Påk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Volta in the 31st minute of play forced A.S.GUBBIO's goalkeeper Osvald Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Polanesi FC's Alfredo Sammartino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvald Påk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Concetto Scarano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Polanesi FC played a much better game than A.S.GUBBIO and deserved their victory. The A.S.GUBBIO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
