A wasted opportunity for Visciano FC. 38 minutes into the match, Carpianello AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Cassone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corrado De Grandis. Fortunato Cassone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Labate in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corrado Franzioni was the one to do the kick off. Fortunato Cassone came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Visciano FC's Alberto Contaldi. But to his dismay, Alberto Contaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Alberto Contaldi put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Cassone. Visciano FC's Alberto Contaldi suffered a concussion in the 59th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 59 minutes into the game, one of Carpianello AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fortunato Cassone went to the wrong direction when Concetto Della Torre was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Carpianello AFC's Fortunato Cassone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Coccia in the 67th minute of play. Fortunato Cassone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Coccia in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Labate in the 71st minute of play forced Carpianello AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Cassone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Coccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Beppe Toto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corrado De Grandis in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Cassone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciccio Labate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Cassone having to interfere. Dino Coccia struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fortunato Cassone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visciano FC. In the 92nd minute of the match, Achille Della Rocca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ettore Feltrin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dino Coccia struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fortunato Cassone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visciano FC.
