With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Guida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Alexander Parente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Carter Disastro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristiano Scarano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco De Rubeiss short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Dave Guida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Scarano in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Guida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Guida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Scarano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Parente was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nova Milanese AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Parente came free, but Carter Disastro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Francesco Scarpa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carter Disastro, passed just outside the right post. Carter Disastro was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Alexander Parente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Parente really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Francesco Scarpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato De Palma during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nova Milanese AFC's Cristiano Scarano got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Guida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.S.C.Napoli's Dave Guida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Scarano in the 84th minute of play. If Cristiano Scarano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nova Milanese AFC's Bianco De Rubeis got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S.S.C.Napoli were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nova Milanese AFC's much stronger midfield.
