Ennio Montanari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Di Lullo in the 18th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Bernardo Nasuti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pontesiana A.F.C and the Borgo Paglia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Pontesiana A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Nasuti. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
