In the 27th match minute, Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Carafa to maneuver through the defense. Amerigo Polmone charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 66th minute, Biagio Picca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Ciolli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Asti!
