Santa Croce AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Morelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Fasciani during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bianco Morelli made a kick off. Dennis Pasquino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Morelli in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Morelli in the 67th minute of play forced Pievequinta's goalkeeper Dennis Pasquino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Barbato struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dennis Pasquino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Croce AFC. 73 minutes into the game, Anselmo Petrella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arturo Rulli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ferdinando Labate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pievequinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Labate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Rulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Santa Croce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Costacurta. Ferdinando Labate scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Rulli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Pievequinta getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anselmo Petrella hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Santa Croce AFC's Fabrizio Pani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Pasquino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Croce AFC fully deserved thier win.
