In the 3rd minute of the match, Antonello Di Renzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frank Venditti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Rolo's Frank Venditti got control of the ball when Antonello Di Renzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Occhiobello booed when Rolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Cesarini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Occhiobello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rolo the free kick. Fortunato Fortuna hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Carmine Cammarota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Gregori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Armin Montanari made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Eugenio Gregori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Rolo's Carmine Cammarota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Gregori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Occhiobello's goalkeeper Eugenio Gregori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Cammarota. Carmine Cammarota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eugenio Gregori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match, Carmine Cammarota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eugenio Gregori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Carmine Cammarota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Gregori was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Occhiobello's Eugenio Gregori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Palumbo in the 87th minute of play. Antonello Di Renzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Venditti having to interfere.
