The audience was convinced that Leonce Buck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Di Marzio was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Biagio Tenaglia came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the La Tribù fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Tenaglia couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leonce Buck sped through Pizzano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Di Marzio. Leonce Buck might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Di Marzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonce Buck ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Pizzano's Dennis Cerri got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Cristiano Fanelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Di Marzio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. La Tribù's Cristiano Fanelli got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Pizzano's goal looked a bit too open when Leonce Buck came free, but Armando Di Marzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Di Marzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Tenaglia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Leonce Buck rounded Pizzano's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 38th minute Leonce Buck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Di Marzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonce Buck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Filippo Mammarella kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ferdinando Brandolini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Colombi in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ferruccio Colombi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. La Tribù's Ferdinando Brandolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save La Tribù from getting a goal against them. Ferdinando Brandolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Colombi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Di Marzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonce Buck's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pizzano's zone, Biagio Tenaglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Di Marzio came out of the goal and Biagio Tenaglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonce Buck spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pizzano's goal. Leonce Buck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Di Marzio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pizzano's Ferruccio Colombi got a free kick in the 90th minute. La Tribù's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
