Daniele Di Placido in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferdinando Marziali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniele Di Placido did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ferdinando Marziali 9 minutes into the match. 19 minutes in the game, Ercole Palumbo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ferdinando Marziali having to interfere. With a little luck, Settimello AFC's Ferdinando Marziali got control of the ball when Daniele Di Placido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercole Palumbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Marziali having to interfere. Ferdinando Marziali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Palumbo in the 25th minute of the match. Alexander Milanese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Daniele Di Placido got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ercole Palumbo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Real Delirio's Ercole Palumbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Marziali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Delirio's Ercole Palumbo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Di Placido in the 55th minute of play forced Settimello AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Marziali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Settimello AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edmondo Giannantonio hit a great ball. When Ferruccio Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Settimello AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Bomba couldn't finish the play. Daniele Di Placido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ferdinando Marziali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Palumbo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Marziali. Ferdinando Marziali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Settimello AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Marziali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Settimello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Palumbo came free, but Ferdinando Marziali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinando Marziali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Di Placido, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Settimello AFC's Ferdinando Marziali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Palumbo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Beppe Perilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Delirio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
