The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Dark Passenger's Alexander Malinconico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Bosso in the 7th minute of play. Eugenio Tuzzolino was a little too slow when Ercole Leoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alfonso Di Pietro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, one of The Dark Passenger:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Dark Passenger. 25 minutes into the match, Ramoscello AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio Tuzzolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Guerriero. In the 39th minute Ciccio Bosso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Malinconico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Malinconico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Bosso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Di Natale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Malinconico having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Guerriero to make the kick off. Eugenio Tuzzolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Guerriero in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Ciccio Bosso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 63rd minute, Donato Di Natale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, The Dark Passenger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Pozzo to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes The Dark Passenger got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Guerriero. A collision led to The Dark Passenger getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edmondo Pozzo hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Donato Di Natale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Malinconico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dennis Guerriero fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dark Passenger's protests and gave Dennis Guerriero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Dark Passenger's goalkeeper Alexander Malinconico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donato Di Natale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Malinconico having to interfere. Alexander Malinconico didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Ramoscello AFC played a much better game than The Dark Passenger and deserved their victory. The The Dark Passenger players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
