Carlo Di Felice struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Alfredo Berardinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campiglia. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ettore Paoletti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campiglia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Paoletti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Berardinelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Paoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alfredo Berardinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Ettore Paoletti made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Berardinelli. Murelle Vechia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 17 played minutes Campiglia got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Centofanti. After 20 played minutes, Campiglia's Augusto Toccaceli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Berardinelli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campiglia reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Ascoli in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferruccio Rosetta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ettore Paoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alfredo Berardinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Di Felice couldn't finish the play. Angelo Scivittaro's late challenge caught a Murelle Vechia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Scivittaro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Campiglia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Angelo Scivittaro hit a great ball. Ernesto Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Rosetta having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Carlo Di Felice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campiglia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

After 62 minutes Campiglia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amedeo Crema who took care of the corner kick. Ferruccio Rosetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Bobbio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ettore Paoletti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Berardinelli was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. If Ettore Paoletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Franco Roberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Berardinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ernesto Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Rosetta having to interfere. Ettore Paoletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlo Di Felice received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Berardinelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlo Di Felice slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 83rd minute. Ernesto Bobbio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ferruccio Rosetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Murelle Vechia booed when Campiglia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Roberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Rosetta came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Murelle Vechia's Ernesto Bobbio. But to his dismay, Ernesto Bobbio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The Murelle Vechia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campiglia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
