Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Montiano FC's Augusto Guerra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dave De Vecchis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Fallito having to interfere. After 16 played minutes St Ignazio got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Palleschi. Augusto Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montiano FC's zone, Dave De Vecchis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Fallito came out of the goal and Dave De Vecchis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. St Ignazio's Dario Borrelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save St Ignazio from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Cera got free with Dario Borrelli in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, St Ignazio's Dave De Vecchis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dario Borrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Dave De Vecchis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Fallito having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Montiano FC's Bernardo Vitale got a free kick in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Dave De Vecchis took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Carlo Fallito to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of St Ignazio booed when Montiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Vitale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, St Ignazio's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Cera came free, but Dario Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Borrelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Cera in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Anselmo Palleschi could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Carlo Fallito however easily saved by the left post. Alberigo Cera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Borrelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Bianco Petruzzi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Carlo Fallito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St Ignazio. Anselmo Palleschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlo Fallito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Elia Tamburrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montiano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St Ignazio the free kick. In the 93rd minute, one of Montiano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montiano FC. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for St Ignazio. Alvise Galdi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo Fallito. 0-2. When the final whistle sounded St Ignazio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montiano FC.
