Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cesare Cavallo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alexander Di Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Petricca, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armanur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Pantani was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestro's players had a chance to rest. After 7 played minutes Armanur got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Bonanni. Arturo Petricca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Di Gregorio having to make a save. In the 19th minute Arturo Petricca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Di Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Palestro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Cerri to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Dino Mattei notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palestro's Dave Giacomini. Dave Giacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Palestro booed when Armanur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Aversano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Di Gregorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Petricca went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dave Giacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Cavallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corrado Donadoni was the one to do the kick off. If Cesare Cavallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Cristoforo Bonanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armanur and the Palestro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristoforo Bonanni hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Bruno Pantani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Di Gregorio skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Armanur's Cristoforo Bonanni got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ercole Domenghini notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palestro's Dave Giacomini. Dave Giacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dave Giacomini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Mattei went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Armanur getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anfilogino Pugliese hit a great ball. Alexander Di Gregorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Petricca in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Armanur's zone, Arturo Petricca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Di Gregorio came out of the goal and Arturo Petricca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palestro's Arturo Petricca got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Corrado Donadoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes, Daniele Felice mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armanur and the Palestro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Daniele Felice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arturo Petricca in the 90th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alexander Di Gregorio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Alexander Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Donadoni in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Armanur had won after a very even match.
