In the 6th minute, Emiliano Cirelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Onori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of NABOLI AC booed when Grottaferrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Molinaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Marconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match, Armin Cesaroni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Alati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carmine Restaino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. NABOLI AC's Amerigo Marconi got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armin Cesaroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Onori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Fino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Cesaroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Alati having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Armin Cesaroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NABOLI AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Cesaroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The NABOLI AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grottaferrata were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Cesaroni to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Amerigo Marconi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grottaferrata's Christian Alati. Christian Alati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Armin Cesaroni put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Alati. 66 minutes into the match, Grottaferrata's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Cesaroni came free, but Christian Alati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Marconi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Alati having to interfere. Christian Alati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Cesaroni in the 84th minute of play. Christian Alati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Cesaroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Amerigo Marconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Armin Cesaroni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Alati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Cesaroni in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the NABOLI AC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
