Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Carlo Vani made the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute Enzo Tacconelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Pasqualone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Rotili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Farrelliana players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
