Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Forcello's Carter Cericola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amerigo Giorgi's late challenge caught a FC Cougars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amerigo Giorgi helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Forcello! Biagio Parco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carter Cericola came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Forcello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Cericola couldn't finish the play. If Biagio Parco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco De Gregorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Nardi having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Anthony Sciascia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Santoro. FC Cougars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Sciascia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th minute of the match Forcello got a corner. FC Cougars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amerigo Giorgi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Amerigo Giorgi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Comunardo Santoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dave Nardi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco De Gregorio's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Parco in the 34th minute of play forced Forcello's goalkeeper Dave Nardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carter Cericola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Franco De Gregorio made a precise shot to the right of Dave Nardi. Forcello's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biagio Parco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cougars's zone, Carter Cericola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Santoro came out of the goal and Carter Cericola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunardo Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Cericola, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Forcello's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Parco came free, but Dave Nardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele De Cesaris in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Cougars's goalkeeper Comunardo Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Cericola in the 64th minute of play. Daniele De Cesaris struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Comunardo Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forcello. After having played for 75 minutes, Daniele De Cesaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forcello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele De Cesaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Comunardo Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele De Cesaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Daniele De Cesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Santoro having to interfere. When Alberigo Matteucci fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cougars's protests and gave Alberigo Matteucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, FC Cougars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Matteucci to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco De Gregorio got free with Dave Nardi in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Concetto Costantino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Forcello's zone, Franco De Gregorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Nardi came out of the goal and Franco De Gregorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Forcello supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Cougars's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Cougars.
