Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Forcello's Carter Cericola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carter Cericola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carmine Petrocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Flamini during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Alfonso Flamini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forcello's Alfonso Flamini got his second yellow card of the match in the 11th minute. The referee ordered Alfonso Flamini off the ground. A collision led to Forcello getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alfonso Flamini hit a great ball. After 16th play minutes Armando Garofoli shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Dave Nardi and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Forcello's goalkeeper Dave Nardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Forcello defense, Edmondo Pellicciotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Nardi. The Forcello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Nardi should have stopped the shot. If Armando Garofoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 50 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Eraldo Monti sped through Forcello's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Nardi. After the first half Mezzeno were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Garofoli to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Mezzeno's Edmondo Pellicciotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Nardi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eraldo Monti's late challenge caught a Forcello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eraldo Monti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Mezzeno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Monti to maneuver through the defense. When Daniele De Cesaris came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Forcello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele De Cesaris couldn't finish the play. Daniele De Cesaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Forcello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mezzeno the free kick. In the 70th minute, one of Forcello:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forcello. The goalkeeper, Dave Nardi, was totally fooled by Mezzeno's Alex Piccinini, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Armando Garofoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forcello's Dave Nardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mezzeno booed when Forcello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Sciascia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Garofoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Nardi having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mezzeno's goalkeeper Carmine Petrocchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mezzeno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
