In the 24th minute, Alfredo Grimaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eugenio Monticelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Di Toma hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Aurelio Aversano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Grimaldi in the 27th minute of the match. Alfredo Grimaldi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aurelio Aversano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Moro. Amerigo De Rubeis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Christian Centofanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Cavanna kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Grimaldi couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, Monte Moro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Giancristofaro to maneuver through the defense. Ennio Capasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Centofanti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, campioni's Ennio Capasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
