The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Bottone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filippo Gabriele. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Eugenio Bottone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Gabriele having to interfere. Bruno Saturno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Cusago AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bottone came free, but Filippo Gabriele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Orsi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ferdinando De Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Cerese AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cusago AFC the free kick. A collision led to Cerese AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Amos Tarulli hit a great ball. Ferdinando De Luca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Lopez having to interfere. Ferdinando De Luca might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinando De Luca ran back to his position shaking his head. Filippo Gabriele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Bottone, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinando De Luca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cerese AFC booed when Cusago AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Losito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes Cusago AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Minichiello. In the 56th minute Bruno Saturno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Gabriele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Eugenio Bottone notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Cusago AFC's Filippo Gabriele. Filippo Gabriele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Bruno Saturno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Bruno Saturno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cusago AFC's Filippo Gabriele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eugenio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cusago AFC's zone, Bruno Saturno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Gabriele came out of the goal and Bruno Saturno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eugenio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cusago AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Flavio Colangelo hit a great ball. When Emanuele Minichiello fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cusago AFC's protests and gave Emanuele Minichiello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cusago AFC's Emanuele Minichiello got a free kick in the 95th minute. Eugenio Bottone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Filippo Gabriele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerese AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cusago AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
