After a rather tough play, Cerese AFC's Dennis Bozzelli got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alfredo Bassani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Saturno in the 5th minute of the match. Dario Rainaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alfredo Bassani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Bottone in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Bassani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Carter Di Gregorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cerese AFC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Borgo Santa Maria AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amos Tarulli took the corner. A collision led to Cerese AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eugenio Bottone hit a great ball. Cesare Cantagallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cristiano Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Petito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Bottone struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Bassani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerese AFC. Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Eugenio Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borgo Santa Maria AFC's Alfredo Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Bottone in the 38th minute of play. If Eugenio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Cantagallo's late challenge caught a Cerese AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesare Cantagallo helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Bottone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Eugenio Bottone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Santa Maria AFC's Alfredo Bassani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Eugenio Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Anthony Petito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Lopez having to interfere. Ettore Nicolai kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bruno Saturnos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Alfredo Bassani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Bassani. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. After 93 minutes, Bruno Saturno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerese AFC and the Borgo Santa Maria AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Cerese AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borgo Santa Maria AFC.
