Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 6 minutes, Cesare Baruffa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavanderie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Baruffa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lavanderie FC's Alexander Lauria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Melis. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Grimaldi in the 10th minute of play forced Lavanderie FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute of the match, Alexander Lauria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristiano Melis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cogorno were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Lavanderie FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Concetto Pelliccioni took the corner. Concetto Pelliccioni made a great header on Cogorno's corner, it was just that Lavanderie FC's Alfredo Villa managed to reach the ball for a save. Lavanderie FC's Alfredo Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Grimaldi in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Cesare Baruffa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cristiano Melis to make any attempt to save it. When Cesare Baruffa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavanderie FC's protests and gave Cesare Baruffa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lavanderie FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cesare Baruffa hit a great ball. Carmine Grimaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Villa having to interfere. Alfredo Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Righi in the 33rd minute of play. Alexander Lauria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cristiano Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Lavanderie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Paglione to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmine Grimaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alvise Paglione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Melis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmine Grimaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cesare Baruffa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Lavanderie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Baruffa couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Righi got free with Alfredo Villa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Villa made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Arturo Righi sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Righi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Villa having to interfere. If Carmine Grimaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Grimaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alfredo Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Melis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Lauria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lavanderie FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cogorno for a fine match.
