Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Corrado Tellini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Voghenza FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Mori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Pennetta. The supporters of US Calcio Badia Polesine booed when Voghenza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Quercia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Voghenza FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ennio Romagnoli hit a great ball. With his leg Alfredo Mori managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when US Calcio Badia Polesine's Dave Pennetta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 9 minutes, Franco Di Paolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. US Calcio Badia Polesine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Di Paolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Voghenza FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Quercia. After 11 played minutes, US Calcio Badia Polesine's Paul Bianchi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Mori came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in US Calcio Badia Polesine reached it. Dave Pennetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alfredo Mori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Di Paolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Di Paolo had several of the Voghenza FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Alfredo Mori as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alex Salemme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Romagnoli in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Franco Di Paolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Mori. Voghenza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franco Di Paolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Franco Di Paolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Mori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Voghenza FC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Romagnoli. Franco Di Paolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alfredo Mori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Dennis Piccoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Gualtieri in the 46th minute of play forced US Calcio Badia Polesine's goalkeeper Alex Salemme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Corrado Tellini sped through US Calcio Badia Polesine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alex Salemme. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Arturo Gualtieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Voghenza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Gualtieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Salemme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Voghenza FC's Corrado Tellini got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Arturo Gualtieri came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Voghenza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Gualtieri couldn't finish the play. Alex Salemme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Gualtieri in the 88th minute. Ennio Romagnoli kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Franco Di Paolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Dave Pennetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Mori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Di Paolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. US Calcio Badia Polesine walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
