The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Di Lullo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Guarrera in the 9th minute of play forced Bellariva's goalkeeper Andrea Macchione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bellariva's Achille Donadoni got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Bianco Bianco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Bellariva's Bianco Bianco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 played minutes Rebbio got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Mastronardi. Emiliano Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Bianco in the 30th minute of the match. Rebbio's Emiliano Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Bianco in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Astolfi during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rebbio's Bruno Astolfi got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Flavio Abbagnale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellariva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Abbagnale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlo Mastronardi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Claudio Tatangelo's late challenge caught a Rebbio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Tatangelo helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Tatangelo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Papa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emiliano Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bianco Bianco to make the kick off. Angelo Festa might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Macchione. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Fabrizio Papa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Bellariva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Papa couldn't finish the play. Cesare Guarrera hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Papa struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Emiliano Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellariva. Rebbio's Emiliano Di Lullo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Rebbio from getting a goal against them. Bellariva's Andrea Macchione played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Festa in the 86th minute of play. Bianco Bianco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Bellariva's Emiliano Di Lullo threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bianco Bianco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Rebbio booed when Bellariva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Abbagnale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Bellariva failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
