Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Festa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Eleuteri having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Rebbio's Cesare Guarrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Eleuteri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Anselmo Macchione managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpineta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Macchione was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Cesare Guarrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Eleuteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Macchione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Cesare Guarrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Diego Eleuteri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Festa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Eleuteri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Pezzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Carpineta FC booed when Rebbio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Astolfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Macchione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugenio Pezzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesare Guarrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Eleuteri having to make a save. After 46 played minutes Rebbio got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ubriaco.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Macchione made a kick off. Eugenio Pezzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Di Lullo having to interfere. Angelo Festa in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Eleuteri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelo Festa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Diego Eleuteri made a huge save. Anselmo Macchione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emiliano Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Festa got free with Diego Eleuteri in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Cesare Guarrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Eleuteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rebbio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpineta FC the free kick. In the 97th minute, Carlo Mastronardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rebbio were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Carpineta FC's much stronger midfield.
