The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Comunardo Piscopo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Macchione showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Saturno in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Virgin Lover getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carmine Soccio hit a great ball. Andrea Macchione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Piscopo in the 65th minute of play. Andrea Macchione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Piscopo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Bellariva's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Piscopo came free, but Andrea Macchione reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Macchione came out of the goal and Adriano Saturno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunardo Piscopo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 101st minute Virgin Lover were awarded a corner. Ermanno Cauli went to the cornerflag to take it. The Bellariva players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Virgin Lover from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
