The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Petroni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Baggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Patrizi having to interfere. The supporters of Molara booed when San Bovio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Fabrizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, San Bovio's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Pennetta came free, but Arturo Di Natale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Molara's zone, Fabio Di Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Patrizi came out of the goal and Fabio Di Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Patrizi was a little too slow when Alberto Baggio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
