Biagio Pedrelli's late challenge caught a Sunrise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Biagio Pedrelli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Catese FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Biagio Pedrelli hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Bruno Scotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Pan skillfully saved the ball. Flavio De Santis's late challenge caught a Catese FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio De Santis helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 minutes, Bernardo Di Rado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sunrise's Arrigo Bozzo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Orsini in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Pan saved Catese FC from getting behind. A collision led to Catese FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Biagio Pedrelli hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Catese FC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Pedrelli. Flavio De Santis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bernardo Di Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Flavio Di Dio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Di Rado to make the kick off. Franco Pan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Orsini, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Ennio Papa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Catese FC's Franco Pan. Franco Pan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Sunrise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Arrigo Bozzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Di Rado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Bruno Magliocco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Di Rado struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Arrigo Bozzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catese FC. Sunrise's Flavio De Santis got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Flavio De Santis off the ground. Flavio De Santis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Bernardo Di Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Bruno Magliocco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Di Rado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arrigo Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Di Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Sunrise support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
