Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Biagio Piccinini made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 minutes, Florian Baruffa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Gaggio and the Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florian Baruffa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Lions FC's Biagio Piccinini got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Piccinini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Edmondo Porta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lions FC's Biagio Monti got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Gaggio's Edmondo Porta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save San Gaggio from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Di Liddo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carlo Vitale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Vitale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Napoleone, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Edmondo Porta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biagio Monti in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Alfredo Di Liddo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Vitale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Porta came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions FC's Biagio Piccinini. But to his dismay, Biagio Piccinini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lions FC's Ciccio Musacchio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Biagio Monti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Biagio Monti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Porta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Francesco Falcioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, San Gaggio's Edmondo Porta got control of the ball when Biagio Monti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armin Calcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Di Liddo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Biagio Piccinini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmondo Porta was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Carlo Vitale was a little too slow when Alfredo Di Liddo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-1. If Ciccio Musacchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lions FC's Biagio Piccinini in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Gaggio's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Biagio Piccinini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Gaggio's Edmondo Porta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Biagio Piccinini in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmondo Porta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlo Vitale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedele Napoleone in the 76th minute. Edmondo Porta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Piccinini in the 79th minute of play. Edmondo Porta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Musacchio in the 83rd minute of the match. Biagio Piccinini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Porta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Monti. In the 88th minute Biagio Piccinini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Porta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Piccinini's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Aurelio Cristofari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Biagio Piccinini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edmondo Porta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Lions FC were the better team. Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
