When Tottenham's Eugenio Imperatore, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham. Arrigo Selvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfredo Egidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Cesaroni kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Occhiobello's Dario Preda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham's zone, Dario Preda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Egidi came out of the goal and Dario Preda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dario Preda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Egidi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Preda in the 29th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Alfredo Egidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham's zone, Dario Preda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Egidi came out of the goal and Dario Preda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Dave Petrella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Occhiobello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham the free kick. A collision led to Occhiobello getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dave Petrella hit a great ball. Dario Di Lillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Imperatore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Alvaro Taglieri fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. If Dario Di Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Egidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Preda, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Dario Di Lillo made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Egidi. Tottenham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 75 played minutes Occhiobello got a freekick which was hit by Dave Petrella. A hard shot by Corrado Sarnelli from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Emilio Casadei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alvaro Taglieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Occhiobello's Emilio Casadei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Imperatore in the 97th minute of play. Occhiobello's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
