Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ermanno Schiavoni started the match with the kick off. Dave Alonzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso De Lucia having to interfere. Borgo San Michele's Alfonso De Lucia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Alonzi in the 6th minute of play. Ermanno Schiavoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Fantauzzi having to interfere. If Emanuele Crema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Cassignanica FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio De Lucia. Ermanno Schiavoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Fantauzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Emilio Porta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro De Fina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso De Lucia having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Alessandro De Fina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Borgo San Michele's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro De Fina came free, but Alfonso De Lucia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro De Fina to make the kick off. Alessandro De Fina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Schiavoni's late challenge caught a Cassignanica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermanno Schiavoni helped the player get up and apologised. Ermanno Schiavoni hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alfonso De Lucia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro De Fina's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Alex Colantonio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Borgo San Michele's Alfonso De Lucia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Borgo San Michele from getting a goal against them. Alfonso De Lucia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro De Fina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro De Fina in the 65th minute of play forced Borgo San Michele's goalkeeper Alfonso De Lucia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Ermanno Schiavoni notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cassignanica FC's Daniele Fantauzzi. Daniele Fantauzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Schiavoni in the 71st minute of play forced Cassignanica FC's goalkeeper Daniele Fantauzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borgo San Michele's Ermanno Schiavoni got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniele Fantauzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Brunetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Alessandro De Fina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alfonso De Lucia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Crema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
