In the 43rd minute Bernardo Ruzzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Fantauzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Beppe Lepre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Cassignanica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Lepre came free, but Daniele Fantauzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 50th minute Oneglia FC were awarded a corner. Bianco Costacurta went to the cornerflag to take it. Ennio Ottaviani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Alonzi in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Oneglia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Alonzi came free, but Ennio Ottaviani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ennio Ottaviani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro De Fina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 99 minutes, Alessandro De Fina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cassignanica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro De Fina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
