Alessandro De Fina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Petrella having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dave Alonzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassignanica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Alonzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Petrella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Petrella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro De Fina in the 12th minute of the match. If Alessandro De Fina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alessandro De Fina managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance for a goal. Alessandro Carta charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Carta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cassignanica FC's Daniele Fantauzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Iacomini in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

58 minutes into the match, Cassignanica FC's Dave Alonzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Petrella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palombina Nuova FC's Beppe Lenci shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniele Fantauzzi but with some difficulty. In the 76thth minute of the game Concetto Iacomini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cassignanica FC's Daniele Fantauzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Dave Alonzi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palombina Nuova FC's Ernesto Petrella. Ernesto Petrella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Petrella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Busillo in the 86th minute of the match. Daniele Fantauzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Iacomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palombina Nuova FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cassignanica FC.
