The Ronchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuele Gori should have stopped the shot. Fulvio Censi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Gelsomini in the 7th minute of play. Fulvio Censi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Gelsomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Corrado Melucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Gelsomini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Censi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Ronchi got a corner. Cangia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Rigoni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ronchi's Armando Rigoni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fulvio Censi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cangia's goalkeeper Fulvio Censi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Eugenio Gelsomini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronchi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Gelsomini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cangia's Fulvio Censi got control of the ball when Daniele Tieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Edoardo Aureli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronchi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Aureli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cangia's Fabiano Rotolo got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Edoardo Aureli came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ronchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Aureli couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Gelsomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoardo Aureli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Gelsomini got free with Fulvio Censi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ronchi booed when Cangia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Rotolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio Censi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Armando Rigoni. Eugenio Gelsomini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Censi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronchi's Edoardo Aureli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulvio Censi. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Tieri got free with Fulvio Censi in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edoardo Aureli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Cicchini to strike the kick off in the second half. Edoardo Aureli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ronchi booed when Cangia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Franceschini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Cangia's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Aureli came free, but Fulvio Censi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edoardo Aureli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ronchi booed when Cangia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Rotolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cangia defense, Edoardo Aureli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Censi. The Cangia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Censi should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ronchi fully deserved thier win.
