In the 22nd minute Beppe Polito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Malandriano getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Flavio Di Febo hit a great ball. Andrea Diana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cesare Berardi made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

I Tolemaici made a substitution. Claudio Sisti replaced Filippo Lio. After 78 minutes of play, I Tolemaici's Ciro Petroni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Berardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Ciro Petroni put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cesare Berardi. When I Tolemaici's Ciro Petroni in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Domenico Balestra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Dolcet having to interfere. Cesare Berardi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Petroni's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. I Tolemaici fully deserved thier win.
