Federico Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Pocobello, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Alex De Filippo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Pari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrico Cieri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Quirico's Dave Pari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Quirico from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Fortunato Pardini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dave Pari. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Federico Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Pocobello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Pari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Pardini in the 23rd minute. Fortunato Pardini in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dave Pari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex De Filippo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Boara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Baresi to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Quirico's Armin Goffredo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alex De Filippo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Quirico's goalkeeper Dave Pari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortunato Pardini. After 41 played minutes Boara FC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Testi. In the 43rd minute of the match Ettore Abete sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Fiordelisi skillfully saved the ball. After 45 played minutes Quirico got a freekick which was hit by Dino Russo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex De Filippo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Demetrio Ferrante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Pari. Quirico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrio Ferrante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Beppe Pocobello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Fiordelisi having to interfere. Aurelio Baresi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dave Pari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Pardini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Pari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Cieri in the 66th minute of the match. Aurelio Baresi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Armin Goffredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Federico Fiordelisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Russo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Enrico Cieri put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Pari. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Quirico's goalkeeper Dave Pari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Camillo Testi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Boara FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quirico:s goal. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Quirico. Armin Goffredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Federico Fiordelisi. 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Boara FC had won after a very even match.
