Beppe Di Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Fino in the 3rd minute of play. Antonello Colagrossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Beppe Di Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cătălin Poalelungi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes, Fedele Marcelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegli and the POLLASTRA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fedele Marcelli hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Alberigo Mazzini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baysal Revnak in the 11th minute of play. When Amerigo Fino fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pegli's protests and gave Amerigo Fino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pegli's Amerigo Fino got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cătălin Poalelungi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Mazzini having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Baysal Revnak could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for POLLASTRA. Amerigo Di Febo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberigo Mazzini. 2-0. Beppe Di Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Colagrossi in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Pegli getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ermanno Pozzoli hit a great ball. If Emanuele Zara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Mazzini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baysal Revnak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes Pegli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amerigo Di Febo who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Anfilogino Bergamini drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Pegli's goalkeeper. If Christian Piano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baysal Revnak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Alberigo Mazzini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POLLASTRA. After a rather tough play, POLLASTRA's Fabio Toschi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Beppe Di Matteo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfredo Traini. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Piano got free with Beppe Di Matteo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pegli's Antonello Colagrossi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Beppe Di Matteo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th minute, Christian Piano made a precise shot to the right of Beppe Di Matteo. POLLASTRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Christian Piano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Pegli's Fedele Marcelli got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Baysal Revnak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POLLASTRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baysal Revnak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, POLLASTRA's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Colagrossi came free, but Beppe Di Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pegli's Christian Piano got a free kick in the 89th minute. POLLASTRA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
